Hey there! It’s been about a month since my last post so I have been anticipating this next one and I am super excited because there are a bunch of products I am LOVING lately! Below is the process of using most of them and some others that aren’t listed but to see the products that gave me this look, read below!
This beauty is already a favorite of mine — it is by Mellow Cosmetics and it is in the color ‘Nude.’ It doesn’t look like nude at all, but I’ll go with it! The color is more of a muted berry and it is to die for! I am usually not a pink-lip girl but this lipstick changed me.
I wouldn’t call it matte but it does go on smooth and I think it would be more in the velvet category. To apply, I simply started with my cupids bow and did my entire top lip and then smudged to my bottom lip. After that, I filled in the gaps where it didn’t take to my bottom lip.
The color stayed in place all night — even post-margarita! It passed the margarita test so you know it’s a good one. To get this gem, click here!
Pur-lisse’s Blue Locus Seed Mud Mask Exfoliant is another favorite of mine and I am so pleased with it because it is a mask that doesn’t bother my skin. Often times I am nervous to try a new product on my face because I have sensitive skin but this one does not bother me at all!
It has a natural scrub to it so when you wipe the mask off, you feel the exfoliating beads on your skin. It tightens up your face like most masks and then when you wash it off with warm water, it turns into a lotion with exfoliating beads. It smooth and scrubby — the best of both worlds! This product is best used at night before bedtime. To get this product, click here!
While we are on the topic of Pur-lisse products, lets talk about another great one of theirs, the BB Tinted Moist Cream. This product is the only product on my face in the first photo above and for a tinted moisturizer, it has great coverage.
The bottle is a bit small so I wish I had more since I feel like I am running out already but it is a really good product.
I feel that this is the best thing to throw on before a beach day because it has an SPF of 30 and is super light but still gives you a good amount of coverage. To apply, I dotted it all over my face using my index finger and then went around with my beauty blender to rub it in. This is the color ‘light’ and you can find the link to it here!
This Urban Decay Afterglow 8-Hour Highlighter was the first powder highlighter I ever used. Most of the time I use a cream stick highlighter so trying this out was a little different for me.
I have to say, though, that I applied this to one cheekbone with a brush and the other one with my index finger and I think the side that I did with my index finger came out much better!
I really enjoy this product and I will be switching up using this one and the cream stick one I have because they are both great and give a little different of a look. To get this product, click here! It’s suuuuper shimmery!
This. Product. Is. AMAZING!! I cannot get over it. I have used this Briogeo Leave-in Conditioner maybe 4 times since getting it and I have not only noticed a difference when it is in my hair but also the over all quality of my hair.
Usually when I straighten or curl, my hair will frizz up a bit but since using this, it has not at all. Not to mention, it smells sooooo good — I feel like I don’t even need to use perfume when I have this in my hair because its such a nice, subtle smell that I don’t want to cover up.
To use this, just simply spray it in damp or wet hair and send your comb or brush through it and voila — silky smooth hair. To get this product, click here!
