Continue readingThe ladies gift guide went first, but now it’s the guys’ turn! We all have a guy in our life, whether it be our boyfriend, husband, dad, brother or friend and let’s be honest with ourselves, guys can be really hard to shop for. My boyfriend and I have been together for a long time and I wish I could say gift giving gets easier, but actually the opposite, it keeps getting harder!
Continue readingYou all know the drill! It’s almost December, which means it’s time for a holiday gift guide. I just read my post from last year for some inspo, and I have to say, it’s going to be hard to top last year’s. However, I will try! Let’s get into it.
Continue readingI would like to consider myself a coat / jacket connoisseur because I just love outerwear that much. The ONLY good thing about cooler temperatures in my mind, is that we get to wear all kinds of jackets.
Continue readingMy friend Carly and I thought it could be fun to head to the local Marshalls and pick outfits out for each other! One rainy Sunday, we did so.
Continue readingIf you know me, you know I love Kim Kardashian West, always have, always will. That’s why, whenever she comes out with another product that I am interested in, I have to test it out.

Today I want to chat quickly about repurposing dresses within seasons, because it’s super easy to do.
I got this dress back in July from Zara for $10 which is an absolute steal. If you’ve never been to the Zara sale, I recommend you mentally prepare, but also do it. Do it for your wallet.

I thought this blog post could be quite fun, so I asked my boyfriend if he would be interested in making it come to life, and to my surprise, he said yes!
Continue readingHI EVERYONE! It’s been a while xx
I’ve been so busy in the best best way ever and I feel like I want to use this post to not only catch up, but also talk about my most favorite basic but classic outfit.
Happy Sunday all!!
I’ve been MIA on the blog lately…….
I write when I am inspired, I write when I have time and I write because I want to. Sadly and unfortunately, I haven’t had any of that recently. However, instead of being upset about it (I was for like, 2 mins), I’m just going to accept it and move on.
That’s why, I am writing to you TODAY! It’s a Sunday and I have nothing to do, so I am going to write…about Valentine’s Day of all things! I know last year I put out two gift guides, and that was awesome and you all really liked it. However, when I think about what I just wrote about inspiration, I did not feel inspired to write a gift guide this year and here’s why…
Valentine’s Day is awesome and for the most part, I really enjoy it. Mostly because I am in a relationship and have a reason to celebrate love, but also because a day devoted to love and commitment is really nice and chivalrous in a way, which we don’t see much of anymore.
However, I wanted to just go back to the basics this Valentine’s Day and instead of promote my favorite things and the best gifts, just talk about ways to share an evening with the person you love.
I get home from work really late every night so I don’t get to see my significant other as much as I would like. That’s why this Valentine’s Day, if he dropped by with some roses and a hug and asked me to hangout and watch one of our Netflix shows, I would be more than happy with that idea of a V-Day. Come the weekend, if we wanted to grab a bite to eat and share a glass of wine together, I would love that too. It seems like this year more than any year, the holidays, my birthday and Valentine’s Day all seem really close together. The last thing I need is another gift — if I am being completely honest. (I’ll regret saying that when it’s the middle of July and I’ve gone gift-less for five months and still have another 6 gift-less months ahead of me). I guess it’s because the fact that I am working full time now, time just seems to fly by. The bottom line is, what I want most this Valentine’s Day is to spend time with my guy, enjoy a glass of wine and relax. I’d like to reflect on love, and that’s how I am taking it back to the basics this year.
No gift guide, no favorite things — just plain ol’ blogging and loving.
Xx, Rae
