Happy last day of November everyone! I don’t know about you, but I cannot believe it’s going to be December and that 2018 is already almost OVER!
This year, I made a Christmastime bucketlist that I thought I would share with you all, because I know it’s hard to think of things you want to do before it’s all over. I know personally, Christmas usually comes and goes and I’ve barely watched one Christmas movie or even have seen the lights in my own town…how sad?! That’s why this year, before Thanksgiving, I sat down with my cute little Kate Spade notebook and really thought about what I wanted to do!Continue reading
I have a ton to be thankful for this year, like every year! Thanksgiving is a fabulous time to reflect on your accomplishments, your life, family and friends because it is close to the end of the year, but not so close that your head is clogged with all of that Christmas/New Years mombo jombo. New Years seems like almost too much pressure to either say a resolution or look back at your fondest memory from the year. That’s why, this Thanksgiving, that’s what I’ll be doing.
I thought I might just jump right in and list what I am thankful for most this year:Continue reading
I am popping on today just to say hi! It’s been a while…I feel like I write that every time I write a post, which should be a sign that I should blog way more.
Either way, I’m here to talk about my second favorite city in the world. I know, I know, it’s second place. However, my first and only true love is the city of Florence in Italy, and it will always and forever have my heart. However, New York City is my second love and I am okay with that.
Okay so I may have had a little breakdown in my car this afternoon, but here we are–I am relaxing and writing a post, so I’m thriving (kinda).
Honestly, I think I deserve a breakdown, though. I am a college grad working three jobs just to stay afloat, follow my passion and make that moulaaaaa. You’d have a mental breakdown too (:
Don’t get me wrong, I wouldn’t change my life for the world, but sometimes I need a GOOD cry. I was leaving my second job, on my way to my third, realized I was about to run out of gas and wouldn’t have time to get any for the next two days because of my schedule. Hello, breakdown!
Heyyyyy there everyone! Happy rainy Thursday to you all, I hope it’s treating you well.
I have this afternoon off, so I thought I’d pop on to write a post all about my fall makeup look and what I’ve been doing every day with my eyes! Tomorrow looks like it’s going to be the first chilly day (and stay that way) so what a better time than now?
Let’s get started.
Happy FALL everyone! I cannot believe how beautiful the weather is here in CT…it’s amazing!
I may or may not have just sat inside though for three hours catching up on Grey’s Anatomy…but here I am, sitting by my open window enjoying the fall breeze!
Happy Sunday everyone! I hope you are all enjoying this FALL weekend that we are having, I know I am!
I had a really exciting day yesterday, and I would like to share the details of it with you.
I was nicely invited to cover this year’s Styleweek Northeast as press, so of course I had to go to not only show my support of these amazing local, New England designers, but also to take note and share my experience along with the designs I saw!
Let’s get right into it, shall we?
Happy Wednesday everyone!
How’s everyone’s week? Mine has been FAB! I just started a new position in New York City so I’m very excited and eager to be there. It’s been a lot of fun so far and I’m learning a lot. I was thinking of starting a segment on here called Commuting Diaries since I currently 2.5 hours per day, each way to get to work! What better way to pass the time on the train than to blog? I thought so, nothing! I’m thinking of recapping interesting parts of my day, stories about commuting (I am sure I’ll have many) and just anything on my mind as I am on the train. It might be a lifestyle, motivational, uplifting but comical part of my blog. Plus, it’ll help me pass the time and that is needed.
So lately I’ve been obsessed with bloggers showing their readers their apartments and I wanted to do something like that myself!
While I currently live at home, since I just graduated college, I still have my own space and I really love it!
Throughout college my room went through a transformation—it seemed like every time I came home on break, something about my room was different! One time, if you can believe it, my parents had painted my room a dusty pink! After the initial shock of my room being a different color set in, I actually really loved it.
During the winter in my senior year, my mom and I started going to Marshall’s and Burlington to see what we could find for my new, very grown up bedroom. I think what we found (and are still finding) are awesome pieces that I will hopefully have and cherish no matter where I move in the future.
Let me take you on a tour of my most favorite parts of my room at home!
