Happy Wednesday everyone!! As I am preparing to turn 23 tomorrow, I wanted to come on here and share a few of my favorite things of 2019 so far!! I got a ton of stuff for Christmas that I am loving and found some old gems that I’ve found a new appreciation for. Let’s get started!!!!
Good morning everyone!
It’s another hot hot day, so I’m staying inside and catching up on some work and crossing some things off my to-do list! I love days that I can just mentally organize my life (and my desktop)—it makes me feel put together, even if I am not!
I wanted to post today on my blog because I have really exciting news! I’ve teamed up with XO Mandy Sue, a boutique out of Newport, California to bring all of my readers and followers a discount code for their entire site. With the code RACHEL35 at http://www.xomandysue.com/ you can get 35% off your entire order! Their clothes are FAB, I posted a photo in the jumpsuit I got from them in THIS blog post, and here I am to talk about their Bedford Jeans—a personal favorite of mine.
ATTN Guys & Gals, Valentine’s Day is quickly approaching! Don’t know how to show the special girl in your life that you appreciate her? Fear not, I am here to compile a list of items she might enjoy on Feb. 14, 2018.
You may have heard that it doesn’t take a whole lot to make us gals happy (and you may be saying to yourself right now, “that’s crap”, but I promise, it doesn’t!
Let’s start slow and move our way up to the big leagues, shall we?
Happy Sunday, everyone! Today I am writing about how and where to find the best pieces, that fit your style and wardrobe!
The idea for this blog post came to mind, because in the picture above, I am wearing a $4 sweater that I found at the place my grandma lives! It goes to show that you don’t have to be looking in the trendiest place to find such a gem. This sweater probably has a story that I may or may not want to know about, but the fact that it is mine now is so cool to me!
Welcome back, everyone! Tonight I am sharing a simple, yet chic look, that has become one of my go-to’s this winter. Between the cold and unpredictable weather, I want to keep covered at all TIMES! With that being said, I am obsessed with turtlenecks. They are so comfortable and cute. They are also quite stylish because I don’t think a lot of people wear them or think to wear them!
Hey everyone! I don’t know about you, but here in CT, we are getting so much rain today! The upside? It’s 50 DEGREES! Last week we were seeing temperatures like -10, so this is quite the treat.
For my rainy day blues, I usually like to cheer myself up by writing a blog post and sharing some outfit inspiration.
Opposite to my usual Friday nights, I am actually going out on the town tonight! I figured, what better, than to share a “night out” with you all. Here it goes!
This look is sort of casual, but still dressy and works for almost any hangout with friends or family. The shirt is satin-y feeling and a burnt orange color, and I paired it with black jeans for a very night time look. In this shot, I am wearing pointed toe heels (I know, not reallllly suitable for this particular weather, but they could be come spring time!) Though I have the heels on, if it is cold, feel free to switch them out for some booties or thigh highs with a heel.
I originally intended to do a low bun with some gold hoops for this outfit, but it completely slipped my mind when I was at the photoshoot! Hair down or up however, I feel that either works.
I cannot wait to wear this outfit when it actually gets a little warmer permanently, but a gal can wish!
Happy Friday everyone! How are you spending your Friday night?
It’s officially FREEZING! Here in CT, we are dealing with temperatures that feel like -6 degrees and sometimes colder. I know people from other parts of New England that are dealing with temperatures as low as -30 degrees with windchill (S/O to my brother & his girlfriend who are SO COLD in Vermont!)
Though its cold, I have been trying to keep up with my style because …isn’t beauty pain or something? Either way, I like to dress for winter, so I don’t let the cold temperatures stop me. My theory? Anything you wear, you can always throw a huge coat over and then you’re probably wearing more layers than anyone else anyways.
I am breaking down three looks for you that I’ve worn over the past week — what I am wearing and how I stood the cold in them. Let’s get going!
